The New Adwords Exams

While “officially” the Google Adwords “Search Advertising Advanced” exam hasn’t even been released yet in the Benelux and EMEA countries, Utrecht (Netherlands) based search agency PremiumClicks was invited to have a first look at the study materials and take the exam later on. Paid Search specialist and owner of the company; Wytze van de Belt passed the exam with a 90% score.

Adwords Exam Passed

“Google is definitely stepping it up.”, Wytze says. “If you compare the Search Advertising Advanced Exam and even the Advertising Fundamentals Exam to the earlier Google Adwords Advertising Professional exam you will find that the questions are going a lot deeper and aren’t just relating to optimization and troubleshooting anymore. With Search Marketing getting more complex and the possibilities ever expanding I feel that Google is pushing in the right direction when raising the bar for standard industry knowledge”.

The Adwords Search Advertising Advanced Exam is primarily targeted towards agencies and account managers, and is the first in a series of additional exams, which can be taken after successfully completing the Advertising Fundamentals exam. According to the Adwords learning center website, the other two exams are “Display Advertising Advanced” and “Advanced Reporting and Analytics”. “We are proud to be the first, but at the end of the day this certification is a badge any search marketer will be proud to wear”.

No official release date for the exams in the Benelux or remaining EMEA countries has been announced yet, but with the release of the exams in the United States, Europe can’t be too far behind

    Hi Samskriti,

Just like with all the other exams, the exam is 100 questions long and you have two hours to complete the exam. However anybody with a descent amount of Adwords knowledge should be able to pass the exam in 1.5hrs tops.

    Good luck!

I conquer with the owner of Premium Clicks, Google is certainly stepping up their approach to Paid Search Advertidsing. I have just passed the exam and it was quite challeging. This alludes to the importanace of Search and the knowledge that is required to be successful in this field.
